Green Tea Chia Seed Pudding is delicious and easy to make with only a few ingredients. It’s naturally sweetened and perfect as a nutritious desserts or can even be a healthy breakfast or snack. I find if I have some healthy snacks prepared, I am a lot less likely to grab sugary ones. So I thought I’d share one of my favourite guilt-free desserts with you.

This Green Tea Chia Seed Pudding has loads of health benefits and very little sugar content. Apart from the maple syrup which you could leave out completely, and just add more fruit to sweeten if you prefer.

Chia Seed Dessert is Easy to Make
Chia seed dessert is quick and easy to make and is made with only 5 ingredients. Not only that it can be made ahead of time and eaten as a dessert, or as a healthy breakfast option.
It suits most diets; plant-based, vegan, keto, gluten-free and if you leave out the maple syrup, it will be completely sugar-free too.
Green Tea Chia Seed Dessert Benefits
Chia seeds may be small but they’re very powerful. They’re full of fibre and antioxidants. Not only that, but they’re also high in omegas and are said to help with inflammation and blood sugar levels.
Matcha Green Tea Powder is believed to have cancer-fighting effects on the body. Not only that, but it also helps reduce heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and can even help with weight loss. Wow, a dessert that’s good for you!
Green Tea Chia Seed Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 1/2 cups non dairy milk
- 2 teasp matcha green powder
- 2 teasp maple syrup
- 1/2 teasp vanilla extract
- cacao nibs, fruit for decoration
Instructions

In a bowl, add chia seeds and non-dairy milk then stir to combine.

In another bowl, add matcha powder, then slowly add a little hot water and whisk until smooth. This prevents the matcha powder from clumping when mixed into the chia pudding.

Add the matcha mixture, maple syrup and vanilla to the chia seed mixture; stir. Place it in the fridge and let it sit overnight, or at least 2-3 hours.

Top with cacao nibs, goji berries or fresh fruit
