I love cooking, and am always looking for new inspiration to be healthy. Recently I have been following The Detoxinista and find her website so inspiring. There is a lot of great information including food combining, how to make your own almond butter and also some great recipes. Most of The Detoxinista recipes are super easy to make, I find all the recipes turn out really well, and I am not a great cook, so I know these recipes are good. I recently invested in her cookbook No Excuses Detox and I have really enjoyed trying out some new recipes.
I tried the frosty chocolate shake, this was lovely and a great treat if you have a sweet craving, as it has raw cacao powder and dates in it.
This Tuscan bean soup is really nice for a cold day, as it’s very filling and comforting.
This Crunchy Thai salad was really quick and tasted delicious.
These sweet potato and oat waffles were fun, I whizzed up some oats in my Vitamix to make oat flour, and added the rest of the ingredients, to make these these healthy waffles for breakfast.
The creamy herb dressing is great for a salad or you can use it as a dip, for a healthy snack.
There are so many healthy recipes books for sale at the moment, but I think this book has to be one of the best I’ve used, not only are the recipes very easy, they are full of flavour, and they work perfectly every time.
If you would like to purchase No Excuses Detox or Everyday Detox you can purchase them here.
