I love discovering new, natural beauty brands and my latest find is Atlantis Skincare. Founded by cosmetologist Zane Piese, all the products are hand-blended. They are all created using plant-derived waxes, rare oils, exotic butters, herbal extracts, and essential oils.
Zane’s passion for all-things-natural came from her mum, a doctor of traditional medicine in Latvia, where she grew up. And also where she started her career with a well-known cosmetic company,
Zane started doing her own research into skincare formulation. She trained with the Association of Cosmetic Scientists and the Formula Botanica Accredited Organic Skincare School. Then she went on to start working on her own range – Atlantis Skincare.
Hand-blended using herbal extracts, waters, oils and butters, the range includes luxurious, ready-to-use creams, oil, serums, and elixirs. Furthermore, each product is freshly made on the day you order. And they come packaged in glass containers to preserve quality and extend shelf-life.
The healing power of plants
In my post on flower essences, I talked about the high vibrational power that plants and flowers possess. Plants increase our own vibration by producing oxygen and other vital substances that are the foundation of many healing therapies like aromatherapy and homeopathy.
This is the ethos behind Atlantis skincare, which is plant-based and chemical-free (no parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate). Plant-based skincare has been shown to reduce hormonal disruption. On top of that, it may lower the risk of allergies and to enhance well-being by reconnecting to ‘Mother Earth.’
Just a few of the reasons that have convinced me to swap to natural and organic products!
Atlantis Skincare Review
Get the glow
This daily moisturiser is packed with intensively moisturising and age-defying ingredients. These include hyaluronic acid which acts as a magnet for moisture, helping skin retain as much hydration as possible.
The Day Cream is hand-blended in small quantities using all-natural ingredients, with 82.5% of those being organic. Deeply moisturising, it also helps to restore radiance.
I’m in love with this deeply moisturising cream made with precious natural seed oils and exotic butters. It has powerful antioxidant protection, promotes skin regeneration and helps to slow down skin aging.
Hyaluronic acid hydrates and smooths skin, and helps minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
There’s also a cocktail of super-nourishing butters and oils including Cupuacu seed butter and Raspberry and Macadamia seed oils which both have potent antioxidant properties. Along with helping to protect skin against environmental damage and premature aging.
Arabica Coffee seed butter firms and tone skin and maintain elasticity, while Avocado Oil is anti-inflammatory and moisture-boosting.
How to use:
After cleansing my skin, I apply a thin, even layer of cream over my face and neck, avoiding the eye area, massaging it in until it has fully absorbed.
I love the silky texture of Glowing Skin Day Cream which sinks in easily and effortlessly. In addition, it leaves my skin looking and feeling refreshed and smooth. Not only that, I had a luminous, healthy glow.

Pour on some oil
This is a blend of sea buckthorn berries and organic extra virgin olive oil. Sea Buckthorn oil is renowned as a potent antioxidant, helping to protect and nourish the skin and body tissues. It can also be taken as an oral supplement to promote health from the inside out.
How to use:
I like to use this as a restorative face and body oil and apply it to damp skin after a shower or bath. It’s a rich, amber-coloured oil, so it’s best to massage it in well and allow it to absorb before you dress.
The oil can be used from top-to-toe, is suitable for psoriasis and eczema-prone skin. It can also be taken internally as a daily food supplement. (Consult your GP before taking any dietary supplement).

This is a real treat for dry and mature skin, as the moisturising fatty acids in sea buckthorn oil have the ability to revive skin cells. Sea Buckthorn also has a multitude of therapeutic skin benefits, from helping to treat sunburn, heal wounds and calm rashes to evening out skin tone. Furthermore, it improves skin elasticity and helps alleviate stretch marks.
I have found Sea Buckthorn Macerated Oil incredibly rejuvenating. The high content of vitamins E and C have definitely help to reduce skin sagging and fine lines while also softening my skin. I have also been taking this as a supplement – 1 tbsp with meals. It has a unique but not unpleasant taste and is quite gloopy in consistency, but the health benefits definitely make it worthwhile!

I love this skincare range; it’s freshly made to order in the UK, and handmade by a woman – what more do you need?
